High-performance controller (multi-channel) for capacitive distance sensors
The capaNCDT 6200 is a powerful multi-channel controller for high-precision, non-contact displacement, distance and position measurements. Thanks to the modular concept, up to four sensors can be operated synchronously with one controller and linked arithmetically, which is ideal for applications with multiple measuring points such as axial run-out, thickness or parallelism measurements. The compact controller can be used as a benchtop unit or integrated into control cabinets and machines via a DIN rail. Flexible interfaces (analog, Ethernet, EtherCAT or PROFINET) as well as trigger and synchronization functions enable simple system integration.
Characteristics
- Ideal for fast measurement tasks: high frequency response up to 20 kHz and measuring rate (digital output) up to 3.9 kHz
- Enormous resolution and linearity for high-precision measurements
- Extremely high temperature and long-term stability
- Simple and flexible integration: analog output (U/I), Ethernet, EtherCAT or PROFINET
- Multi-channel: Up to 4 sensors on one controller
- Compact and industrial-grade die-cast aluminum housing
- Compatible with all capacitive sensors from Micro-Epsilon
Multi-channel capable - up to 4 sensors on one controller
The measuring system consists of a controller and a suitable demodulator for the respective sensor. Due to its modular design, the capaNCDT 6200 can be easily extended with additional demodulators and thus expanded to up to four channels. The compact controller can be used as a benchtop unit or mounted on DIN rails or walls using adapters.
Mathematical functions & synchronization of multiple controllers
The DT6200 controller enables synchronous operation of up to four measuring channels - ideal for applications in which several measured values need to be acquired simultaneously. Integrated mathematical functions allow the individual signals to be calculated without external evaluation.
For larger setups, several controllers can be synchronized externally. This means that more than four sensors can be operated in parallel without the sensors influencing each other. This ensures stable and consistently precise measured values, even in complex multi-channel applications.
Simple operation via web interface
Due to a user-friendly web interface, no additional software is necessary to entirely configure the controller and the sensors. The web interface can be accessed via Ethernet and contains all settings for the capaNCDT 6200. In this way, filters, arithmetic operations and other parameters can be easily stored in the controller.
